Letter from the Editor: Harvest in the air — and drones in the sky

It’s not often during the summer that I make many trips out to the farm. Last Sunday morning, my husband asked if I wanted to ride along to watch a drone sprayer work on one of the family farm’s fields along the Canadian border. It’s also not often that I get SUPER excited to leave my “lake paradise” — good ol’ Mount Carmel Dam — to head to the farm.
