Munich receives more than 6 inches of rain in 48 hours

Body MUNICH — Heavy rainfall over the weekend left some residents dealing with water issues as storms moved through northeastern North Dakota. According to local resident Bobby Foster, Munich received more than 6 inches of rain between Saturday and Monday morning.

Body Community worship service planned at Walla Theatre The Walhalla Ministerial Association will host a community worship service at the Walla Theatre on Sunday, July 5. Special music begins at 11 a.m., followed by worship at 11:15 a.m.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey gauge, the river climbed from about 2.65 feet on June 25 to nearly 9 feet on June 30.
