Borderland looks up for ‘Blood Moon’ eclipse

Borderland residents turned their eyes skyward on the night of Aug. 27 as a deep partial lunar eclipse transformed the full moon. The eclipse occurred as Earth passed between the sun and moon, casting its shadow across 96.3% of the moon’s surface.
