On Saturday afternoon shortly after 3 p.m., Walhalla Fire crews were called out to the Walhalla Airport after reports of a ditch fire. The fire originated as a controlled burn that got out of hand as winds shifted and picked up. Firefighters were able to put out the blaze quickly. No injuries or property damage was reported.
