Langdon native Dr. Erika Stein honored for excellence in rural health care

Northwood Deaconess Health Center's (NDHC) chief medical officer, Dr. Erika Stein, has been named the 2026 Outstanding Rural Health Provider by the Dakota Conference on Rural Health. The award, given to a healthcare provider who practices in rural North Dakota and is unselfishly committed to improving the health of their community and service area, was presented at an awards banquet June 3.
