Deepfake legislature
In the North Dakota Legislature on Monday, House Bill 13-86 passed on the House floor with a definitive 91-2 vote. The bill looks to criminalize deepfake child sex abuse material created with AI technology, whether it be image, video, or audio. The bill, if signed into law, would make possessing such material either a class C or class B felony.
