The Pembina Gorge State Recreation area wants the public to know it is now open year-round and is encouraging visitors to take advantage of winter recreation opportunities - especially snowshoeing, a unique way to experience the Gorge’s trails. Snowshoeing is allowed on any trail in the recreation area. Visitors are welcome to park at the trailhead in the heart of the Pembina Gorge.
