The Cavalier County Health District, Cavalier County Library, and NDSU Extension teamed up to support a free seed library, allowing residents to check out seeds just like books. The grant-supported community effort encourages more home gardens across the county, while providing resources on planting, harvesting and saving seeds to return to the public library for future growing seasons.
