MINOT, N.D. - Trygve Hammer officially announced his candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives on Monday. The retired Marine, former educator, self-described oil field roughneck, and now political columnist is running to be an advocate in Washington, D.C. for the people of North Dakota.
