Body Langdon hosted its Spooktacular event on Halloween, last Friday, Oct. 31.
Eamon Alido, a teacher from the Philippines at the Mott-Regent Public School District, receiving an award from state school superintendent Kirsten Baesler (pink) for county teacher of the year in Hettinger County in 2024. Many teachers on J-1 visas like Alido would rather get H-1B visas because they offer both a longer stay and a potential path to citizenship. J-1 visa holders can stay three years and a maximum of five if extensions are given, before returning to their home country.

Body The Langdon Fire Department has provided some details into the fire call which occurred at the CHS building south of town on Sunday evening. The fire was called in around 7:15 p.m., and Langdon Fire Chief Mike Schrader provided details.
