Happy Halloween from all your friends at PNC! This week we had Mrs. Crosby’s sixth grade class from North Border Walhalla school visit us. The class is composed of Blake, Brantley, Caleb, Corbyn, Gracie, and Nolah. This is their second time coming to “hang” with the residents.

Our Story Hour was fun this week. Michelle Serht read ‘Uh Oh My Dragon's Smelly,’ and the kids really enjoyed it. After she was done reading, we played Fall Bingo and ate Puppy Chow. The winners got to pick a prize from our prize box.

November 4, 2025 – The Oliver family settled near central Dakota Territory in the 1880s. Large game was disappearing, but wildfowl remained plentiful. While it was easy to shoot most wildfowl, getting close enough to wary cranes was challenging, even when they landed to feed.
