49ers Shrine Club carries on tradition of giving, community support

Body The local 49ers Club, a unit of the Shriners, continues to make a significant impact in Cavalier and Pembina counties through fundraising, community support, and assistance to families in need. The unit’s annual fundraising event recently took place on April 11.

Body For Dawn Kruk, a recent kidney transplant has brought something many take for granted—relief, gratitude and a renewed outlook on life. Kruk, who was first diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease at age 18, said the condition has been part of her life for decades.

Edmore Community Club to hold annual meeting

Body The Edmore Community Club will host its annual meeting Monday, April 27, at the Edmore School Community Center, inviting residents to gather for food, conversation and community planning. A meal will be served at 6 p.m., featuring barbecues, salads, chips, and desserts.
