Close call inspires push for AEDs at Langdon ball fields

A frightening incident during a busy night of youth baseball and softball prompted a pair of local volunteers to make sure life-saving equipment is readily available at Langdon's ball fields.
Shannon Bjornstad, a registered nurse at Pembina County Memorial Hospital, said the idea for a community fundraiser began after a Langdon athlete collapsed twice during a game.
