The South Pembina Bridge could reopen to vehicle traffic later this year under a temporary repair plan approved by the Pembina City Council.
The bridge was closed to vehicles in June after North Dakota Department of Transportation inspections identified several structural issues. It reopened to pedestrian traffic at the beginning of July.
