MOUNTAIN, N.D. — Icelandic heritage, community traditions and family activities filled Mountain during the 127th annual Deuce of August Icelandic Celebration held July 31 through Aug. 2.

The three-day celebration began Friday with the Friday Forum at the Deuce at the Mountain Community Center. The program featured Svanhildur Holm Valsdóttir, Iceland’s ambassador to the United States, along with pre…
