In the early morning hours of May 27, 2023, Jayce Richard Thomas, 20, caused a single vehicle crash four miles east of Egeland, N.D., on Highway 66. The Highway Patrol reported Thomas crossed the centerline, entered the ditch, and hit a field approach, which caused his vehicle to overturn multiple times. It would catch fire before finally coming to a stop.Thomas was injured in the crash....
