Bernie in Vietnam.
In honor of Veterans Day, I asked my father-in-law, Bernie, to write up a short summary of his time in the military. I gave him no specific instructions on content or length.
He emailed me a summary of 200 words. He wrapped up over 7 years of service in two short paragraphs.
I was hoping for more but was not surprised at his concise and unadorned, matter-of-fact summary.
