I suppose there’s a reason it’s called fishing, not catching. I had the pleasure of ice fishing in a friend’s popup last week and had a blast, even though nothing bit. I had never used a fish finder before and was amazed at the device, which showed the buggers all hanging out near my line but not once did they take a bite!
