Here we are, the furnace is on, the fireplace is blowing out some heat and I’m under a blanket. My coffee is beside me, providing a perfect setting to write this week’s column. The trees aren’t really shedding their leaves yet, at least not very fast. It won’t be long, though, as we are in a bit of a chilly spell.
