Last weekend I drove 7 1/2 hours to Prior Lake, Minn., for my cousin Callie’s wedding. Twenty-six years ago, Callie was a sweet little 5-year-old handing out chocolate leaf-shaped favors at my wedding, so it only seemed fitting that her wedding was also in October, surrounded by beautiful fall colors and gently falling leaves.
