She especially enjoyed spending time with friends, bowling, playing cards, and watching her children’s sports activities. Her faith was central to her life, and she was an active member of St. Alphonsus Parish, where she played piano and organ, sang in the choir, taught religious education, and was a member of Catholic Daughters.
She is survived by her children: Steve (Karen) Gellner, Jeff (Dawn) Gellner, and Janelle Day; her grandchildren: Brynn Okeson and Evan Gellner, Jeremy and Sarah Gellner, and Payton and Josh Rients; and her brother, Dick (Jackie) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Gellner; her parents, Herbert and Helen Johnson; her brothers: Herb Jr., Bob, and Ralph; and her sister, Rita Bruinsma.
