Jean Schneider was born on February 4, 1932, in Sarles, N.D. She was raised in the Calvin area, where she attended school and later graduated from Calvin High School. On May 12, 1954, Jean was united in marriage to Louis Schneider. Their marriage was blessed with three children: Barb, Teresa, and Kent.
Jean dedicated much of her working life to caring for others and was honored to be one of the first employees at Maple Manor in Langdon, N.D. Her work there reflected her lifelong commitment to helping those around her.
Outside of her career, Jean enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She was an active member of the Catholic Daughters and found joy in activities such as bowling.
Jean will be deeply missed by her husband of 71 years, Louis; children: Barb (Perry) Thomas, Teresa (Dave) Bawden, and Kent (Renae) Schneider; grandchildren: Katie, Becca, Greta, Michael, David, Tommy, and Marlee; and 18 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. She was preceded in death by her parents; she is the last surviving child of the Gardner Rosenberger children.
