Agnes Gellner

A private family service and burial will take place at a later date for Agnes M. Gellner, 83, of Langdon, N.D., who passed away Nov. 11, 2025, at Osnabrock Community Living Center in Osnabrock, N.D.

Agnes Mae Schill was born July 12, 1942, in Langdon, N.D., to Erwin and Suzanna (LaPorte) Schill. She graduated from Alsen in 1960 and continued her education by studying nursing at Lake Region College in Devils Lake, N.D. On Nov. 28, 1964, Agnes was united in marriage to Daryle “Jim” Gellner. She spent many years working as a CNA and in the laundry department at Maple Manor Care Center. Agnes enjoyed spending time outside in her yard, planting flowers, and spent many hours knitting and crocheting through the winter months. Surviving Agnes are her children: Darla Amundson of East Grand Forks, Minn., and Darren (Lisa) Gellner of Langdon, N.D.; grandchildren: Brady Amundson, Paige (Grant) Welsh, Brock (Britni) Amundson, Jessi (Joey McGauvran) Gellner, and Tucker Gellner; and great-grandchild Peyton Welsh. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Daryle ‘Jim’, son Mark, son-in-law Dale Amundson ‘JR’, and sister Rose Lundquist.
