Thomas Raymond Delebo, 93, passed away peacefully in his Sausalito, Cali., home on Feb. 12, 2025. He was born in Langdon, N.D., on Jan. 1, 1932, to John George and Rose Delebo. Tom was the second youngest of 11 children. He attended Saint Alphonsus elementary and high schools, graduating as valedictorian of his senior class.

After graduation, he attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, W.I. earning a bachelor’s degree. Tom

was accepted into Marquette Medical School and graduated as an M.D. specializing in pediatric oncology. He moved to Sausalito, Cali., and practiced medicine at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Francisco.

Tom was very active in the Sausalito community, volunteering for many organizations before and after his retirement from medicine. Tom volunteered at the Point Bonita Lighthouse, was a docent at the Bay Area Discovery Museum and the Golden Gate Raptor Conservancy, as well as many other organizations. He was also a generous donor to the local arts community in Sausalito. Tom was a world traveler and found joy in many activities. He found pleasure in cooking, scuba diving, hiking and in his 80’s, took up boxing!

He was preceded in death by his partner of 44 years, Bernard Feeney, his parents and eight siblings. Tom is survived by his older sister, Geneva; his younger brother, Don; two nieces and five nephews.
