The North Border Eagles football team was ranked fifth in the first media preseason poll of the year. The Eagles hosted North Prairie in their first home game of the season in Pembina and lost to the Cougars 48-14. North Border, now 0-1, plays at Four Winds for a Region 2 contest Aug. 28, then will return home to play Midway-Minto on Sept. 4.
