October brings the postseason for most fall sports Here we are, after our first full week in October. Heavy rain stopped harvest for a couple of days, but hopefully, by the time most people read these words, everything will be back in action if it hasn’t happened already. Beet harvest was going strong as well, and let’s hope this all continues to go with no breakdowns. Thankfully, we haven’t seen any snow yet, and it doesn’t look like we will, at least for the next 10 days, which is also great. The month of October has lots of fun sporting events coming, with playoff football, volleyball tournaments, and postseason cross country meets. Let’s tell you about all of them.
