Body September 1, 2025 – In the year 1900, the Grand Forks baseball team became North Dakota champions. They won this great honor by earning the best record in the state, winning 23 games and losing just three, and also by defeating the best teams in the region.

Frost Fire hosts second annual golf tourney fundraiser

Body The Walhalla Country Club was bustling with excitement on Saturday, Aug. 16, as Frost Fire held its second annual golf tournament. The event exceeded expectations, drawing 20 teams - 80 golfers in total - for a day of competition, prizes, and plenty of fun on the course.

Body Aug. 18 marked the first practice for girls volleyball for the upcoming 2025 season. The Langdon-Munich Cardinals and North Border Eagles will both begin their seasons at the Northern Cass Volleyball Tournament on Aug. 30.

Body The fall turkey season is set with 4,310 licenses available to hunters, 235 less than last year. One of the 21 hunting units has more licenses than last year, eight have fewer licenses and 12 units remain the same.
