Chili cook-off raises money for local first responders

The votes are in, and the donation numbers have been tallied by First Baptist Church in Langdon after they hosted their fourth annual Chili Cookoff at the end of June. The church was able to raise an impressive $3,456 for area first responders.

FAA awards funding to regional airports

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced an award of $3,493,701 through the Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) program for projects at several airports across North Dakota.

The Langdon Area School District school board is regrouping after the referendum failed and working to develop a new plan going forward. Many of the projects are high dollar projects that are impossible to schedule or save for with our current budget and levying ability.
