Langdon native earns NJCAA academic honor

Langdon native Reed Scherr, a member of the North Dakota State College of Science football team, was named to the NJCAA All-Academic Third Team for the 2025-26 academic year. Third-team honorees completed at least 24 credit hours and earned a cumulative grade-point average between 3.60 and 3.79.

Walhalla Pool campaign nears $1.4 million goal

The fundraising campaign for the Walhalla pool received a major boost last week with a $75,000 anonymous donation. Cheryl Trupe said that gift, along with several other donations, leaves the campaign less than $128,000 short of its $1.4 million goal.
