The inaugural issue, released April 17, highlights the creativity, leadership, and collaboration of elementary students, led by fifth graders Breck Krivarchka and Nevaeh Aguilar, who helped bring the idea to life.

By Sarah Hinnenkamp The Cavalier County Auditor’s Office is preparing for the June 9 primary election with a major change to absentee voting deadlines and new vote-by-mail procedures. Vote-by-mail changes This year, voters can submit absentee ballots up until the close of polls on election day, a shift from the previous rule that required ballots to be received or postmarked by 5 p.m.

For Dawn Kruk, a recent kidney transplant has brought something many take for granted—relief, gratitude and a renewed outlook on life. Kruk, who was first diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease at age 18, said the condition has been part of her life for decades.

Edmore Community Club to hold annual meeting
