A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on February 14, with visitation starting at Noon, at Amundson Funeral Home in Grand Forks, N.D., for Darla Cerrone, lovingly known as 'Sunshine,' who was a beacon of warmth and compassion, illuminating the lives of those around her.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, at United Methodist Church in Langdon, N.D., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. for Dora Borgen, 96, of Langdon, who passed away January 27, 2026, at Langdon Prairie Health in Langdon. Burial will be in the spring at Hannah Cemetery.

April 6, 1928 – January 18, 2026 Alameda, California Mass of Christian Burial was held February 5, 2026, in Alameda, Cali., for Ida Mae Kempel, who passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on January 18, 2026.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00 a.m. on February 7, 2026, at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, Minn., for Dennis “Denny” Hanson, of Blue Earth, who passed away January 15, 2026, peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont, Minn., following the service.

A celebration of life will be held at Calvary Evangelical Free Church in Rochester, Minn., on February 27 at 4:00 pm for Lois Maureen Schwartz, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who earned her angel's wings on January 11, 2026, at the age of 90 years old in Rochester. A graveside burial will be held in the spring in Langdon, N.D.

A memorial service was held January 20, 2026, in Walhalla, N.D., for Laurel L. Smith, 84, of Walhalla, who passed away Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Pembilier Nursing Center in Walhalla. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be sent to the Pembilier Nursing Center or the Walhalla Ambulance Service. Laurel was born on August 11, 1941, to Doranna and Andre “Buster” Gratton in Langdon. The family moved to Walhalla when she was young, and she graduated from Walhalla High School in 1959. She attended college in Mayville. Following college, Laurel taught school for a short time in Starkweather and Walhalla. Laurel married Allan Smith on June 21, 1962. They had two children, Theresa and Timothy, and raised them on the family farm.

Mass of Christian Burial was held January 17, 2026, in East Grand Forks, Minn., for Harry Jacob Kram, 77, of Grand Forks, N.D., who passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2026, after a long, courageous battle with cancer at Heather’s House Hospice in Fargo, N.D. Burial will be in the spring at Calvary South Cemetery in Grand Forks, N.D.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the Wallis – Stewart Chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes in Ringgold, Georgia, for Jeannette Marie Michaud Ingle, age 85, of Ringgold, who passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026.

Benjamin Karl Haignere decided to leave this earth on Jan. 8, 2026, leaving behind a profound absence in the lives of those who knew and loved him. While his death came far too soon, Ben’s life was marked by connection, charisma and creativity, resulting in stories that will be told for years to come.
