State Wrestling Tournament coming Feb. 19-21 at the Fargodome Tournament Time is heating up. This weekend, the East Region Class B Individual Wrestling Tournament for boys and girls will be held in Valley City Feb. 14. This all leads up to the state wrestling tournament, which happens Feb. 19-21 at the Fargodome. There’s good news and bad news for the Pembina County North boys and girls teams. They have both made the State dual portion of the tourney in Fargo, but both have about as tough of draws in the first round as you can get. The boys will go up against top-seeded Velva, and the girls, the same with Bismarck Legacy (I know, you’re saying, “How could the girls be playing a team from Bismarck?). Well, that’s how it goes in girls wrestling. There are no designations for Class A or Class B - they are all put together. We wish all of our grapplers the best of luck at State.
