Blades 19U girls split two league games with Hazen-Beulah, Bottineau-Rugby

Body The Langdon Blades 19U girls hockey team hosted two home games at Dakota Spirit Arena - versus Hazen-Beulah on Jan. 24 and Bottineau-Rugby on Jan. 25. The Blades lost to one of the best teams in the league in the North Stars, 7-0, but won over B-R in thrilling fashion, 3-2.

Body The North Border Eagles boys basketball team met the Cavalier Tornadoes for the second time this season, this time in Cavalier on Jan. 27. The Eagles beat the Tornadoes 63-43 back on Jan. 8 in Walhalla, but this time would be different.

Body The Winnipeg Jets skated to a 3–1 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Jan. 20 in an NHL regular-season matchup at Canada Life Centre, but the final score was only part of the night’s story. Following the win, Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey (#44) was named Player of the Game.
