After all was said and done, the Lady Cards came out with their state-record sixth straight title and also won back-to-back championships for their first time ever. The Cardinals got it done, going five sets in every match they played at state: winning over Central McLean in the opening 3-2, beating Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier 3-2 in the semis, then coming back from being down two sets against Medina- Pingree-Buchanan and winning on a reverse sweep 3-2. That's also the first time that's happened in State B history. Langdon-Munich finished their 2025 year with a record of 39-5. The Lady Cards Hilary Haaven, Taya Feist and Kemi Morstad made the All-Tournament team, and Haaven has also been named to the Class B All-State volleyball team. Feist also set a State B tournament record with 12 blocks in the championship match, breaking a record set by Shaunessy Dauwalder of Stanley in 2011. Feist's 12 blocks are also a Cardinals program record, which was 11 set by Breanne Treleaven in 1993 and Kim Power in 1996.
