Lady Cards win sixth state title; Langdon-Munich gets two fall state crowns for the second time We start these words with another episode of more good news this week, as the Langdon-Munich Cardinals girls volleyball team has won another state volleyball title. This is the first time the program has won back-to-back championships, and it’s the sixth overall, which is now a State B record. It’s also the first time a team has gone five sets in each of the tourney matches and a first with being down two sets in the title match only to win three in a row.

Dakota Bowl XXXIII makes a ton of long lasting memories What a time it was getting the privilege to broadcast at the Fargodome once again for a part of Dakota Bowl XXXIII, which was held on Nov. 14. It was fantastic to witness the Langdon- Munich Cardinals football team win their fourth state football title in a very exciting fashion. The Cards fan section was full of people from all over - from Cavalier County and alumni from seemingly everywhere. It was also very cool to see not just the Cardinals but also Devils Lake and New Rockford-Sheyenne from our area win championships. Believe it or not, it was the first-ever title for Devils Lake in school history.
