Eagles volleyball loses at Larimore by a sweep

Body By Jake Kulland, Sports Editor For the second time in a week, the North Border Eagles played the Larimore Polar Bears in girls' volleyball, and also for the second time, the Eagles lost to the Polar Bears - this time by a sweep, 3-0.

Body The Langdon-Munich Cardinals are getting to the point of their season where they have some very competitive opponents. They hosted the New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets on Sept. 25 then played at Park River-Fordville- Lankin on Sept. 30.

Body “Concessions for Chet” raises 11,000 dollars for the Ottem family The communities of Langdon, Munich, Walhalla and Pembina all joined together to support a fundraiser for Langdon sixth grader Chet Ottem, who plays on the Langdon-Munich grade school football team.

Cardinals beat Thompson to stay unbeaten at 6-0

Body The Langdon-Munich Cardinals football team hosted the Thompson Tommies for the first time in several years when they met on Sept. 26. After a close game early, the Cards got going and blew out the Tommies, 34-6.
