Below you will see results from Langdon-Munich and Pembina County North in recent meets in Bottineau and Devils Lake. Three Cardinals athletes, Meredith Romfo, Aubrey Badding and Cody Amble, had the honor of competing recently in what is called the Howard Woods Relays, a very prestigious event where Class A and B teams come from several different states. Romfo won the girls javelin on her final throw of 121 feet two inches. This is quite an achievement for Meredith. Her coach, Jane Hart, said on her winning, 'The Howard Woods track meet is getting to be more prestigious every year! For Meredith to come in there and take first her first time there is amazing! And to have other coaches from other states complementing her on her technique was pretty cool! She’s a competitor, and she won it on her last throw, which says a lot about the athlete that she is!' Romfo is committed to NDSU for women's track and field this fall and has qualified for this year's State Track Meet in Bismarck.
