A Celebration of Life was held October 1, 2025, in West Fargo, N.D., for Michael Earl Slaybaugh, 68, of West Fargo, who passed away Sept. 23, 2025, at Essentia Hospital in Fargo, N.D.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on November 15, 2025, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in SeaTac, Wash., for Francis Ray Jennings (Frank). Following a military service, his cremains will be interred at Tacoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash.

Funeral services were held Sept. 25, 2025, in Munich, N.D. for Vera Jean (Glover) Hoffman, who went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept. 19, 2025, at Eventide Long Term Care Center in Devils Lake, N.D., at the age of 88. A burial followed in the South Salem Cemetery.

A memorial service was held September 17, 2025, in Walhalla, N.D., for Michael T. 'Mike' Johnson, 76, of Walhalla, who passed away Tuesday, Sept.

A funeral service was held Sept. 6, 2025, in Cavalier, N.D., for Merlyn James Dalsted, 92, who passed away on Sept. 1, 2025, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital in Cavalier. Merlyn was born on May 7, 1933, in Svold, N.D. He was the son of John and Elinora “Ella” (Thorleifson) Dalsted. He grew up on the family farm and ranch in the Svold area. Merlyn attended grade school at the Svold School, later getting his GED at UND in the spring of 1982. On May 19, 1972, Merlyn married Kaye Bill in Hamilton, N.D. They began their married life on the family farm in Svold. They built their life around farming and ranching. He farmed the original homestead with his brother, John Allen, and with their father, John, until he died. When his brother, John Allen, died, Merlyn continued to live and work on the farm.

Funeral Services were held Sept. 11, 2025, in Munich, N.D., for Lilah J. Dick of Devils Lake, formerly of Munich, N.D., who went home to her Lord and Savior on Sept. 5, 2025, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D., at the age of 99 years. A burial was held in the East Salem Cemetery, rural Munich.

A prayer service will also be held at 7:30pm MT on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, with visitation one hour prior at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson, N.D., with a funeral mass at 10:00am MT on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, with visitation one hour prior at the church. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, at LienStraub-Carlsen Chapel in Eureka, S.D., for Patricia Koehmstedt, 80, who passed away peacefully on Aug. 28, 2025, at Avera Eureka Healthcare Center in Eureka.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Kenneth John Moos on July 30, 2025, at the age of 76. After a strong four month battle against duodenal adenocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer, he quietly passed away at N.C. Little Hospice in Edina, Minn. A service to celebrate Ken’s life will be held Sept. 13 at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo, N.D., from 1:00-4:00 p.m. with an informal service at 1:30 and reception to follow.
